HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR ART

General Submission Guidelines

Electronic Ads:
To submit an ad electronically, please submit ads created in one of these programs: Adobe InDesign, Photoshop or Illustrater, or we can accept JPG, TFT or EPS files as long as fonts are enbedded.

Text InDesign, Illustrator files:
If your ad is submitted in Microsoft Word, the fonts will probably not translate correctly. Please submit a hard copy of the ad if it is in Word so that the ad can be replicated accurately.

Images & Logos
Please make sure all digital artwork is at least 300 DI, high resolution, copyright free, CMYK print ready formats (.jpeg, .tiff, .pdf, .eps). Art from a website is not acceptable for print.

Digital Files:
When submitting an ad already created, we accept Publisher files. It is preferred to create a pdf of the file and submit that artwork in place of a Publisher file.

Submission Guidelines for Home Solutions or Community Solutions

Magazine Page Size: (width X height):

The finished page size is 8.375” x 10.75” (8 3/8” x 10 3/4”)
The page has a margin of .25” and no text should extend into the margin.
Bleeds should extend .125” beyond the full page size.

Actual Ad Sizes: (WIDTH X HEIGHT):
Full Page: 7.875 x 10.25”
1/2 Page: 7.875” x 5”
1/4 Page: 3.75” x 5”
1/8 Page: 3.75”x 2.375”
1/3 Page: 7.875” x 3.25”
1/6 Page: 3.75” x 3.25”
1/12 Page: 3.75” x 1.575”
